Kumusta Pusa™ Brings Filipino Culture, Storytelling, and Childhood Literacy to Lone Star Palengke

Dallas, TX — November 9, 2025 — Kumusta Pusa™, the Filipino-inspired children’s brand beloved for its joyful storytelling and cultural heart, is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Lone Star Palengke, a vibrant celebration of Filipino food, art, and community in Texas.

Created by Arawko, LLC and co-founded by retired military physician Dr. Marlon P. Rimando, Kumusta Pusa™ centers on an all-white, smiling “Puspin” cat who introduces children and families to Filipino values such as kapwa (shared humanity), saluhan (helping one another), and cultural pride. Through bilingual children’s books, activity books, plush toys, and interactive community experiences, the brand promotes childhood literacy while honoring Filipino heritage for the next generation.

At Lone Star Palengke, Kumusta Pusa™ will offer families the opportunity to explore its popular Kumusta Pusa Lovesbook series and culturally inspired merchandise designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. True to its mission, the brand will also highlight its “Buy a Book, Donate a Book” initiative, which supports literacy efforts by placing books into the hands of children and libraries in underserved communities.
